  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and whole milk; stir to combine. Gradually add parmesan while stirring until melted.
  4. Toss cooked tortellini and sliced steak into the sauce until well-coated. Heat through if necessary.
  5. Serve garnished with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
