- 3 1/2 cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 cup whole or 2% milk (warmed to 110°F)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1 beaten egg (for brushing the tops)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Flaky sea salt (for finishing)
Instructions
- Prepare a lightly buttered 9×13 baking pan.
- In a small pot, melt butter and cook minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant; let cool.
- In a stand mixer bowl, combine flour, parsley, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warmed milk, egg, and cooled garlic butter. Knead on low speed for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
- Divide dough into 12 equal portions and shape them into balls. Place in the prepared pan and let rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Brush tops with beaten egg wash; bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, melt remaining butter with minced garlic; remove from heat and stir in parsley. Brush this mixture onto freshly baked rolls.
