  • 1 pound chicken sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet.
  2. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Stir in broccoli florets and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  4. Return sausage to the skillet along with shrimp, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Cook until shrimp are pink (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water before adding it to the skillet.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
