  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add chicken and sauté until cooked through; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, honey, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes; simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, stir in grated Parmesan until creamy. Toss with cooked pasta until combined.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional cheese if desired. Serve hot.
