Instructions
- Combine warm milk and active dry yeast in a mixing bowl; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- Add eggs, red gel food dye, salt, sugar, and butter; mix well.
- Gradually add flour and cocoa powder until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth; let rise in an oiled bowl for about an hour.
- Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter over it and sprinkle with the filling mixture.
- Roll up tightly from one long side and slice into equal pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
- Let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C); bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- For icing: Beat together cream, cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
