  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 & 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  2. Add both sugars and beat until fluffy.
  3. Mix in peanut butter until combined.
  4. Incorporate the egg and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt) and mix until just combined.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop dough into balls, roll in sugar, and place on sheets.
  9. Press each ball with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
