- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 8 ounces egg noodles (or other noodles of choice)
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup snap peas or green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch until evenly coated. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set aside.
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned and nearly cooked through. Then add bell pepper, onion, and snap peas; stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan along with the prepared sauce. Toss everything together until noodles are coated with sauce and heated through.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving to enhance both flavor and presentation.
