Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet and brush half of the glaze mixture over the tops and sides.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes; remove and brush with the remaining glaze before returning to the oven.
  6. Bake an additional 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  7. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving; sprinkle with fresh parsley.
