Ingredients
- 8 ounces manicotti shells
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 1 jar (26 ounces) pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook manicotti shells in boiling salted water for about 8–10 minutes until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, egg, and basil until well mixed.
- Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese filling using a spoon or piping bag.
- Spread half of the pasta sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Place stuffed shells on top and pour remaining sauce over them. Sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
