  • 1 lb sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 oz taco seasoning
  • 2 cups pico de gallo or salsa
  • 1216 oz guacamole
  • 12 cups shredded mild cheddar
  • 2 oz sliced olives

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, blend the refried beans with 1 oz of taco seasoning until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and the remaining taco seasoning. Mix until smooth.
  3. In a deep dish or trifle bowl, layer the ingredients starting with refried beans, followed by the sour cream mixture, guacamole, pico de gallo or salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, and topped with sliced olives.
  4. Garnish with green onions or cilantro if desired. Cover and chill before serving.
