Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz ground turkey sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk (divided)
  • 1 pre-baked 12-inch pizza crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey sausage until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  2. Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir to coat evenly. Gradually add 2 cups of milk while stirring until thickened (about 10 minutes). Season with black pepper and set aside.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the pre-baked pizza crust on a baking sheet and optionally brush with olive oil.
  5. Spread half of the sausage gravy over the crust.
  6. Whisk together eggs and remaining milk in a bowl. Cook in a sprayed skillet over medium-high heat until just set (about 5 minutes).
  7. Spread scrambled eggs over gravy, top with cheese, and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle crispy fried onions on top, slice, and serve warm.
