  • 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry
  • 4 oz Cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 3 TBSP Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Large egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tsp Water (for egg wash)
  • 1 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 TBSP Water
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 TBSP Milk
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the frozen puff pastry on a floured surface until about ¼ inch thick, then cut into rectangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Place cream cheese filling on each pastry piece, fold edges to create shapes, and brush with egg wash (egg and water mixture).
  5. Cook blueberries with sugar and water in a saucepan until softened and slightly thickened.
  6. Bake pastries on parchment-lined sheets for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla for glaze; drizzle over cooled pastries before serving.
