  • 4 (14.5-ounce) cans green beans (drained)
  • 8 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 large garlic clove (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (cut into slivers)
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Seasoned salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your slow cooker by greasing it lightly. Place the drained green beans at the bottom.
  2. In a nonstick skillet, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Add diced onion when bacon is nearly done; continue cooking until onions are soft.
  3. Transfer the bacon and onion mixture to the slow cooker using a slotted spoon. Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of the leftover bacon grease over the beans.
  4. Add butter slivers, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
