Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp chili crisp
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 6 green onions (thinly sliced, separate white and green bits)
- 1 Tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce (plus more for serving)
- 2 Tbsp white miso paste
- 6 cups vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 lb frozen vegetable, chicken, or beef dumplings (mini wontons or potstickers)
- 3 to 4 cups baby bok choy or bok choy leaves
- Fried onion
- Chili crisp
- Green onion
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chili crisp, white parts of green onion, ginger, and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce, broth, and rice vinegar. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 4 minutes.
- Whisk miso paste with hot broth in a small bowl until smooth and return to the pot.
- Add frozen dumplings and simmer until nearly cooked through as per package instructions.
- Stir in bok choy and the remaining green onion tops; cook for 1-2 minutes until wilted.
- Serve hot with your choice of toppings.
