- 1/2 tbsp oil (+ more for frying)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tsp minced ginger
- 3 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 cups shredded carrot
- 1 cup shredded zucchini
- 1/2 cup finely sliced red pepper
- 1 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- Red pepper flakes (to taste, optional)
- 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)
- 1 batch of dumpling wrappers (or use store-bought)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add shredded cabbage, carrots, zucchini, and red pepper to the pan; cook for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- Stir in tamari, sea salt, and ground pepper. Mix well.
- Place about one tablespoon of filling onto each dumpling wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal securely.
- To cook: Steam for 10 minutes or fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
