  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
  3. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until opaque and cooked through. Set aside.
  4. Mash the avocado in a bowl and mix in lime juice, cilantro, and garlic salt to create guacamole.
  5. Combine diced tomato, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, and black pepper in another bowl for pico de gallo.
  6. Assemble by spreading guacamole on each tostada shell, topping with grilled shrimp and pico de gallo.
