  • 1/2 tsp tamari soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch + 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 1/4 lbs ground chicken
  • 1/2 tsp Szechuan pepper
  • 1/2 tsp pandan powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 1/2 scallion
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 green cabbage

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, ginger garlic paste, Szechuan pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and other spices until well mixed.
  2. Separate cabbage leaves and trim thick stems for easier folding.
  3. Place about one tablespoon of filling onto each cabbage leaf and fold securely.
  4. Steam the dumplings for about 15 minutes until cooked through or pan-fry until golden brown before steaming.
